René Breukhoven is partner and co-founder of Breukhoven Jung (2002). He has broad experience in the field of executive search in the business sector, ranging from conventional industries to consumer goods, from biotechnology to business services.

Before the foundation of Breukhoven Jung, he was Managing Director of Converge Recruitment Solutions. His career as an executive searcher began at KornFerry, where he was co-responsible for the Consumer Goods practice.

Prior to this René was the HR Manager Europe for D’Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles/Worldwide Communications (DMB&B), as well as Management Supervisor for Eastern Europe and the Russian Federation.

Before having been asked to join DMB&B he was Management Consultant and Regional Manager Benelux at a Swiss firm of consultants specializing in strategic implementation.

In this capacity he advised worldwide clients such as the Tetra Laval Group, Nokia and Honda.

The first part of his career he spent in strategic rolls in the oil industry and the motorcar industry. In the context of these responsibilities he played a part in the merger of several national organisations and in reorganisations. His predilection for organisational problems originated here.

Rene has been a search consultant for 15 years. The first seven years he was a partner of Converge in Hoofddorp where, apart from setting up the recruitment and executive search activities, he conducted assessments and coaching/career counseling sessions.
